Going for a Drink
Nothing says weekend better than a cold brew right in your hands. Luckily, there are a lot of great bars near the beach where you can get all the drinks you want. Since you are looking to unwind, we recommend that you stay away from the noisy spots and find a nice little bar where you can be alone with your drink and your thoughts.
The first place that comes to our mind is the Rumfish Grill at the Guy Harvey Outpost conveniently located at the Tradewinds Island Resort. Guy Harvey is the well-known marine wildlife artist and conservationist. The world-renowned advocate has lent his name to this particular outpost to great effect. Needless to say, it seems his colorful style was able to rub off this little beach bar despite maintaining that laid-back atmosphere we all tend to look for during the weekend. Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of this bar is its dining area which plays host to a massive custom-made fish tank.
Of course, a bar’s aesthetic appeal would be meaningless if it did not serve great drinks. That is why it would please you to know that Rumfish also delivers on this front. Its centerpiece is the trio of decadent liquid desserts, namely, bananas foster martini, the snickers martini, and the chocolate cream pie martini.
